“Visited St Georges Day 2022 - well worth approaching via Crystal Palace if possible just for that famous incredible view of London from the junction of the high street and top of Gipsy Hill. Can find the brewery/taproom as you turn of left down the bottom of Gipsy Hill, located in an industrial estate with a nice size taproom and outdoor seating. Service was good and a few guest taps offered amongst their own and some big fridges for beers to drink in and take away. Well worth a visit.“

“Visited 29.01.22. Interior is wannabe chic with secondhand tables and chairs, but it looks cheep rather than Berlin stylish. 4 handpumps, om which two were on at my visit. They also do food.“

“Situated on a small modern industrial estate almost opposite London Beer Factoory. Fairly nondescript unflattering buildings, but interior is large with a row of fridges and then a decent long bar and wooden tables. Great range of Gipsy Hill beers plus very decent guests. Outside area with benches and on a Friday night there was a stone baked pizza set up serving yummy pizzas. Only gripe was that service at the bar was slow.“

“Following multiple visits, late 2017 to April 2018. New site across the courtyard from location previously reviewed by others. They have invested heavily, through local crowd-funding, in new bar facilities. Rough, unfussy post-industrial "decor", with exposed brewing lines. Good long bar serving mainly their own good, and growing, range, plus quality guests. Big screen rolls down at times to show the odd 6 Nations game or major football match. But 95% of the time it is just dedicated to serving great beers.“

“Got taken here by my son on 14th Feb 2017, late afternoon: so fairly quiet, in fact we played Scrabble with one of the pubs sets. Named after a former tool store it has old tools as decoration, with designer shabby chic walls, furniture and floors. Goes back a long way from the initial front room with bar. Food looked good but we didn’t eat. London cask beers/London craft keg beers/London bottled selection. Pleasant staff and I suppose a hipster like clientele. I got four new rates, so happy with that. Part of the Antic Pub Chain according it it’s website.“

“Visited on Saturday 19th Nov 2016: same industrial estate as London Beer Factory (and a unit selling Pulled Pork/Pizza). Basic brewery tap area with a table or two and bench seating. Only three different bottled beers available on our very cold visit: they had just taken out the taps because they have a new pub and it has the brewery tap ’taps’ now. Bit disappointed with the selection, but all three bottles were fine and the guy serving was informative and friendly: will revisit in the summer when it’s warmer and hopefully ’re-tapped’.“

“Visited on Saturday 19th Nov 2016: bloody freezing. 4 Taps, plus a few cans and bottles: all their own stuff, no guests or mates beers. Just a small bar and a space they provide for punters, no tables, just kegs with planks balanced on them for seating: basic but effective. Did I mention it was bloody freezing in there? Big screen showing Rugby Internationals otherwise just a very cold brewery and it’s equipment to stare at. Another unit in the industrial estate houses the Gipsy Hill Brewery while another was open selling Pulled Pork and Pizzas: all in all a neat little set up for the three businesses.“

“Visited on Saturday 20th Feb 2016. Typical warehouse style brewery and little taproom , the seating and table is constructed with kegs and planks giving it an authentic feel. Owner and the brewer were super friendly and happy to chat about the beer. The standard range of beers are excellent, 4 kegs when I visited plus bottles. The brewery are starting to do a few "one-offs" so worth looking out for. Had a sample of the new Imperial Milk Stout which was fantastic. Great place and throughly recommended.“

“Downhill from the train station (or Beer Rebellion), turn to the left and then into an industrial area and just after passing London Beer Factory, the microbrewery can be found in the yard. Quite charming little bar with a few tables and chairs in front of the brewery plant busy working early on a Saturday afternoon. Bottles to take away and four of their own beers on tap. At our stay, tasty Rare Breed Pork Pies were available. Friendly service and freshly made beers (visited with Finn 28.11.2015).“

“A fairly basic brewery taproom setup. On my visit they had two beers available on cask. That was a few months ago, so perhaps they have expanded their range a bit.

The barman was friendly and happy to talk about the brewery. The ambiance is typical bar-in-a-brewery, which is to say, fine if you don’t mind drinking in a brewery. But they do have some tables and benches and what have you. Fair prices as I recall.

Definitely not a destination, given that the selection is/was limited, and they aren’t putting out specials. But a nice enough place if you happen to be in the area.“

“10 minutes walk from the station. Some benches inside the brewery and a few outside. You sit inside with brewing going on around you. Wellies may be needed 8-) . Fresh & good ales.“
