| 52 /100 UNTER DEN ULMEN 9 “Visited late January 2014. On the outskirts of the small town centre, 12 mins walk from station. Unfortunately main bar area closed for private function so had to sit in the restaurant part which was not bad just less beery! On tap were 2 pils (a filtered and an unfiltered),Spezial Dunkel and I presume a seasonal, Fuhrmann’s Dunkel - a sweet strong dark brown winter warmer. The unfiltered pils was quite hoppy but had a very soapy texture. Service slow, prices marginally lower than standard. Bottles of Konig Ludwig Weizen (hefe, dunkel, kristal) available too.“ |
