“During a week spent drinking wine only, the Kleines Brauhaus was the only beer related stop. It was a rainy day and had a Riesling tasting before, this did not prevent me from enjoying the place. I sat under the carousel and asked if it would have been possible to have a bierprobe (tasting flight) as they had 5 beers on offer! The nice lady serving agreed and so I could enjoy all the range available on that day: Helles, Kölsch, Weizen, Dunkel, Doppelbock. I enjoyed my stay, def one of the most picturesque biergarten in Germany. You do not need to come to Bacharach because of this place, but as the village is wonderful and worth a stop, if you are in the area, plan a visit. They offer food as well, but did not try.“

“Visited whilst on a tour around the Rhine below Rudesheim am Rhein, noticing a street a board advertising the brewery, a little tricky to find as it is behind a theatre, museum, also owned by the same people. There is a quirky garden with a fairground theme, relaxing and fun. The owners are very keen that you try the beers, I managed to negotiate a tasting tray. The beers are all unfiltered and quite tasty for being so, they are brewed by the kitchen. Really worth visiting if you are in the area.“

“Visited 24-05-17. Stopped here on a bicycle tour. Located in small lovely town Bacharach. You see the location either from the bicycle path or the street, you just need to pass underneath the train tracks. Located in a theater place, the beer gardeni s situated in an old carousel, interesting location. Had all their 4 beers from tap, very smooth beers, easy to drink, nice refreshment after cycling. Also ordered a Currywurst with a spent grain bread, delicious. But they also do Schnitzel and other stuff. Opening times: April to September daily except Mondays.For the winter month you should call or check the website.“

“Small brewery in Rheintheater. 4 brews: light, weizen, dark & doppelbock. The last one being real good, while the first three are quite ordinary.“
