“We stayed the night in Johnson City before attending an event the next day in Fredericksburg. We had dinner at Pecan Street and I tasted a handful of beers. The ambience is family friendly and the clientele was mostly locals, a positive I think for this establishment. Quite nice inside. Service was attentive and friendly. A pizza was shared by two of us, not bad. The beer should offend or impress not many people, fairly pedestrian.“

“Fun little stop. A surprise drop in on the road as my friend pulled in on a rather quiet Sunday afternoon. Had one beer - their IPA. I rather enjoyed it. My friend had another - possibly a pale ale, not sure. He was not pleased with it at all. Rather doubt I would go out of my way to go there again, but suppose if I was heading to Fburg I would consider it.“

“Stopped on my way to San Antonio. Had supper, food was ok but nothing great. The place looks and feels pretty decent in the downtown area of Johnson City. Not bad for a little town and good to have a brewpub in towns like this. The beers were uneven but had a couple of decent ones. Not somewhere that would be a destination but good enough to stop if you are around. 7 beers on tap and you can get samplers of them all. Growler fills and the like as well.“

“Stopped by here over Memorial Day weekend. Nice sized brewpub with seating inside, as well as as biergarten in a tin-covered building out back. Had six house beers on tap, with a chalkboard that leads me to believe up to nine house beers may be on tap at times. Menu featured several sandwiches and pizzas. I had the pizza and it was really good - better than the beer. The beer was not great, but the restaurant was nice and I am glad I went.“

“Ambiance - Small local brewpub; we were probably the only non-locals there that day. Laid back. Service - A little slow but very friendly. When they messed up placing our order, the waitress brought out some chips and salsa to tide us over and the manager checked on us at least three times. Selection - Pretty limited. 5 of their own beers and 1 other local beer, nothing else. Food - Our burger and sandwich were good. Value - $3.50 pints, total bill was just over $30.“
