“I’ll start my review by indicating my typical beer search runs to beer stores are always for singles that I never tasted before, preferably mixed sixpacks. This is a place nearby my Seminole home, I was unaware it existed even tho it moved in over a year ago. It’s about one half the size of Lueken’s and one quarter the size of Total Wine. This is the first ABC I’ve ever been to, so I didn’t know what to expect. Yes, they do have the most popular craft beers in sixpacks and cases, but their singles selection really stinks. Don’t even think about trying to make a mixed six here, you’ll be totally disappointed. Maybe they had about 5 common craft singles and about 6 more very common beers. But hey, maybe you can find a quick case of 12 or 24 if you are in a hurry. BTW, my mom was with me and they couldn’t even locate the wine she wanted even tho they knew they had it. On the bright side, when we finally found it, it was about 2 bucks less than what I paid at Total Wine down the street a couple of days ago.“

“Had high expectations before I went here. Easy parking right off seminole bvld. Inside it reminds me of a total wine & more. Tons of everything alcoholic, including beers. Almost every kind of beer you could imagine. My only problem was that I am a mixed six pack kind of beer taster. I'm usually looking for singles to try before I buy a sixer of something. Well, this place is totally lacking in the singles respect. Yes there was a small cooler of singles but it was mostly common stuff, but I must say, I did find at least one can from a local brewer that I never tasted before. Good prices tho.“

“Decent sports bar in a strip mall north of Park. Typical US vibe, friendly with baseball on the big screen and friendly as hell. Tap list ain't up to much, although if you aren't local you may get a few ticks (Tampa Bay, Green Bench, 3 Daughters). For anyone around these parts it's reasonably humdrum I'd guess but im enjoying it.“

“Pretty massive liquor store in Seminole Boulevard. There’s absolutely loads of beer here along with all other manner of alcoholic beverages. Most of it is sold in packs but there are about 20-25 chilled craft beers in singles (fairly easily available and cheap local & national stuff such as Stone, 3 Daughters and Sweetwater), plus a nice collection of unchilled beers that are a little bit dearer (some Dieu de Ciel, Prairie and Crooked Thumb). It’s worth checking their slightly clunky website to see the sort of stuff they carry. They’re really friendly and knowledgeable. Local delivery available..“

“Nice place to pick up a few craft berws or otherwise on your way to redington, indian rocks or madera beach. Easy access, good prices and a nice selection. They also have tons of freshly made foods that would be ideal for a picnic basket. Good fast service. In addition to being a great grocery store, the only thing I wish they had was a mixed singles rack. Good overall beer buying experience. I also bought a 24 pack of the notorious Rio lager for 12$!“

“They got virtually anything you need here for basic good quality groceries. Overall, a decent grocery store with lots of cheap good quality stuff and they also have very good six-packs of affordable brews you can't find any place else. Thanks Aldi!“

“Smallish tap room with a massive selection of own beers. Beers from a wide range of styles. Different sized flights available. Enjoyed most of what we tried, particularly liked the Bourbon Oak Stout. Friendly service. Seems a bit overlooked compared to some other local places. Definitely worth a look.“

“Probably my favourite place in Tampa on this visit. Great staff, and friendly. Lots of beer available in different styles, and mostly above average. They do flights. Cool space, divided into different rooms. I'm biased probably as I'm a Rapp myself on my mom's side. Cheers!“

“Nice tasting room with multiple rooms. Huge taplist, with about 35 of their own tap, plus some guest ciders and wines. Flights of 4 for $12, 6 for $18, or 9 for $25 available. Frankly, the beer quality did not live up to my expectations. I wasn’t really impressed with any of their kettle sours, or their famed flavoured dark beers. Friendly service. They had a pizza truck parked outside, which was decent. Expensive and overhyped in my books.“

“A relatively small taproom, minimalist decoration in an unexpected area. Seemingly popular, it was crowded during our visit and difficult to get good service. Vast tap list with several styles being well executed and a few being top notch. Definitely worth a visit when in the area as their beers do not travel as much as they should. You would not come here for anything but the beer, but beer is what they excel at.“

“Doesn’t get much (any?) better than this. It isn’t easy to find, but once you do you will be well rewarded. There are two seating areas: one with a relaxed pub look and feel, and another larger warehouse-y bit. The service is brilliant, as I was flummoxed as to what to get (doesn’t usually happen but it did here) I had some very good recommendations. They’ve got 39 of their own beers plus one guest (Lindemans Framboise). No bottles but growlers are readily available for most of their beers. Went with two older relatives (one a beer drinker, the other not) and it was a great evening. One not to miss.“

“Very small bar area to get service from, this makes it very hard to get a beer. One of the few breweries to do Lagers in Pinellas and for the most part they are nice. Abv’s are not consistent with their beers one day the English Mild is 4% the next week its over 6%. Some patrons got way out of hand during one of my visits and nobody on staff seemed to care.“

“This place has been on my list to visit for awhile. It didn’t disappoint either. Plenty of seating, with a smaller bar. Tap list was vast and had numerous different styles and experimental beers. Well worth the time to stop here.“

“Rapp is a very cool brewery and a must stop on any Tampa/St. Pete craftbeer tour. First and foremost is the sheer number of beers that Rapp has at any given time...18-20! Then factor in that they have any where’s from 40-50 more "different" beers waiting to go on tap (the owner told me this himself)...and you can see why a visit here is worthwhile...not to mention repeat visits. A few that I enjoyed on my visit were California Common, both Black & Rye IPA’s, and the Smoked Roggenbier. The place itself is not that special as far as ambiance...just a strip of garages...but you’re here for the beer. The staff and service are great here too. By the way...not sure why everyone’s review doesn’t score a 15 for selection...which simply refers to the number of beers a place has (huge for a small to mid-size brewery) not how good they are...just saying.“

“Smaller place with a small bar and some tables. They had a food truck there at night. It was pretty crowded, but the two bartenders did a good job. They had some really good beers there and some average ones. 20 on tap though and you can get 4,6 or 9 on a paddle. Good prices and a decent atmosphere.“

“Nice tasting room with a ton of styles on draft. I think they had 23 different on draft during our visit. The staff was really friendly and social. The beer was above average with a few on the exceptional side. I was excited to try this place and was not disappointed. If I lived anywhere in FL within an hour drive I would be here and 7venth Sun on a regular basis. If you visiting St. Petersburg this place needs to be on your must visit list. They have Wi Fi as well but wasn’t working on our trip. Get the Wi Fi up and running and this is a beer raters dream… no joke.“

“Visited during RBWG 2015. Well, this place is a ticker’s paradise, that’s for sure. They had 20+ beers on tap, and a few kicked and rotated during our visit. The range of styles here is impressive; you’ll get everything from gose to weizenbock to barrel-aged barley wine. The quality level is generally above average, but there are definitely some highlights, such as the gose. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The pricing excellent. The ambiance is low key - this place is a pretty typical industrial brewery taproom. If you’re a beer geek you should definitely make your way to this brewery taproom.“

“Visited February 20, 2015.

This was the third stop on the bus tour after 7venth Sun and Luekens. Wow, they have a lot of taps. 20 taps going with one changing out while we were there. They did free tasters for all of us, which I thought was insane considering it’s a bus full of tickers, but they happily poured them. I did try all of them. I think my favorite of the bunch was the peanut butter beer. Lots of different styles to pick from, some interesting styles present. Most were pretty good though, so no complaints here. The tasting room is not overly decorated though he does have the RateBeer Best Of plaque showing proudly. Next door in the brewery there is some more space with some benches and tables. I’m glad we got to see this place and I would definitely come back on a subsequent trip to Tampa.“

“Standard industrial park brewery tap room. Pretty small, no-frills interior. It’s amazing that these guys are turning out beer of such quality despite the limitations of their system (plastic fermenters etc.). The tap room is a ticker’s dream. I counted 20 house beers covering a pretty broad range of styles. Rapp’s gose seems to get chins wagging the most, but don’t overlook the other stuff they’re making here. Prices are totally reasonable, service was cheerful. A recommended place.“

“Visited on the RBWG 2015 bus tour. Nice brewery with a small but ample sized tasting room. Friendly service. Nice selection of 20 drafts along with a few special beers for the tour. Tasters were free as part of the tour so I can’t comment on actual value. Beers were mostly good. Worth a stop.“

“Small warehouse in an industrial stripmall setting with decent parking. Tall bar up front and some tables, with expansion space next door and a small area outside. Brewing system in the back is tiny, with plastic fermenters - and despite the system limitations they make delicious beers. My favorites were the revivavals of old German styles - a lichtenhainer! A broyhan - I’ll have to look that one up. No food - focus is 100% on the beers. Very friendly very knowledgeable staff. A must visit.“

“This was high on my visit list for the Gose. Nice suburban space, easy parking. Simple ambiance, bar in front with a tap board over the top, a few tables as well. 20 Taps running when I was there, and when one blew they put on something else immediately. Pretty wide selection of styles to choose from as well. They do tasters (you pick) in 4, 6, or 9 beer sizes, for reasonable prices ($10 for six). Server (one of the Rapp’s) was super friendly and knew her beer. Beer was solid. Well worth the visit.“

Free WiFi available.
A bit hard to find, you don’t see if from the main road, but need to turn down at the correct spot. Parking available just outside. We arrived 40 minutes before closing, but were still still allowed to order a 9 beer flight. Nice fast friendly knowledgeable service.
A place I’d gladly go back to. Fairly big selection of beers.“

“Easier to find brewery tucked away all alone in an industrial park. Nice custom banner points the way to beervana in a sterile concrete jungle. Interior is similar to Dunedin with the rafters full of the flags of famous beer producing countries. Large chalk board lists an absolutely insane amount of house beers: 16-20 at least! Unfortunately, not every beer was good but the Gose made the trip easily worthwhile and their hazelnut chocolate beers pretty much delivered. Staff was friendly, generous sampler flights allowed 6 beers or so and they were well organized. Gose bottles were for sale for $20 each or $50 for 3- came with a reusable Rapp bag to boot. Pretty solid crowd mid day. We were all very happy to have to stopped in. Pretty much everything you could expect from a local brewery taproom.“

“One of the top brewers in the local area, specializing in harder to find styles. The tap room is as basic as it gets, but there about 20 beers on tap that are all pretty unique. If your from out of town this place is basically in the middle of nowhere, so it may not be worth it to drive yourself if you cant find someone else to dd. That aside, I recommend checking it out.“

“Small brewery and Tap room in an industrial estate in Seminole. Somehow they have 20 of their own beers on tap and each of a different style. Pretty much everything was of a very high quality. The gose and lichtenheiner were particularly delicious. They do 4 or 6 sampler trays which is a must with all this beer on draft. Greg even came over and chatted to us for while and gave us some free beer for "feedback". Pretty amazing all-round. A must-visit when in the Tampa area.“
