UPDATED: DEC 14, 2023 Draught @ Pikkulintu Ruttupuisto. Smooth, slightly smoky and grassy hoppy with hints of grainy malts, leather, grass and hay. Quite tasty but this one would probably be even better super fresh

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2023 (Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20231207) The beer poured deep golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, malts, honey and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy, malty and bitter. A great with few but very clean flavours in a delicate balance.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2023 Tap at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, grain, dryness, malts... very nice.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2023 From the barrel (själrvrunnet) at Zum Fransizkaner. Gentle smoke aroma. Bright gold colour. Creamy taste with light smoke malt. Sticky. Prefer the keg version which is probably heresy. Still delicious though.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2023 Bottle from de Laat. Super clean yellowish golden pour with a white head. Grassy, herbal hops, bread and honey, extremely clean both in aroma and taste. Refined, crisp, sophisticated. Lovely.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2023 Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of grainy malt, nice bitter herbal hop, würzen, lager yeast, creamy grassy hop and a little caramel. Taste has nice creamy bitter herbal hop, grainy bready malt, caramel, lager yeast, würzen, grassy hop and a bitter herbal finish. Very good lager.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2023 Ins Glas eingeschenkt werden ein minimal getrübtes Altgold und eine cremige, gut haltbare Krone sichtbar. Malzwürze und Getreide erscheinen in der Duftprobe optimal ausbalanciert, es riecht zudem dezent nach zitruslastigem Hopfen. Auf eben jene Noten treffe ich auch im Antrunk, welcher schwach rezent und tendenziell schlank ausfällt. Dabei erfreut einen eine leichte Malzsüße mit einer hauchfeinen floralen Note und zitroniger Fruchtigkeit. Seinem Namen gerecht werdend fällt es enorm süffig aus, man möchte das Glas gar nicht mehr absetzen! Im Abgang lauert schließlich der milde, fruchtige Hopfen, welcher sich mit einer feinen grasigen Hopfenbittere exzellent in Szene setzt. Es handelt sich um ein schmackhaftes und bekömmliches Helles mit einem angemessenen Körper und einem hohen Frischeeindruck, was der Süffigkeit naturgemäß in die Karten spielt. Mal etwas rauchfreies von Spezial, wahrhaft gekonnt umgesetzt!

UPDATED: APR 13, 2023 Pours slightly darker than golden, with amber hints/reflections; sligthest cloudiness, a bit more cloudy when i pour the final inch. A not too big but nicely firm/stable white head that shows excellent retention and lacing. Average intensity in a superbly refined aroma: hay, slightly cerealish base, delicate but clearly discernible honey and chamomille notes. A vivid, quite fresh feeling fruitiness, with apple and a lemonish/cedarish background. Plus, a light grassy background. Nothing is in your face, everything is mild but feels clean and precise. The same goes for the taste: notes as per aroma, plus a touch of floral hops in finish/aftertaste. Perfect sweet/bitter balance in both taste and aftertaste, both feel mild and wonderfully delicate. Clean finish leaves a half floral, half fruity reminiscence. Light bodied with very delicate, fine bubbled but decently lively carbonation. Feels super smooth and drinks as easy as water. A monument to kellebiers.
