UPDATED: MAR 3, 2024 September 23, 2022 - at Southampton Arms - on keg. Slightly hazy brassy gold with a solid white head. Simple aroma - light, but appealing - citrus/citrus zest, light alcohol, floral bitterness (8-). Taste follows, a bit sharper - nice, balanced. Decent body and carbonation, slight tingle to it - medium non-coating finish, pleasant aftertaste, never boozy. Classic Kernel IPA.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2023 4.5.2023: 330 ml bottle at home, 7% ABV, bottled 15.3.2023, bought at qoqa. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a white head. The aroma is hoppy with citrus fruits, tropical fruits, pine, sweet resin, nectarines, passion fruit, some pineapple, some grapefruit zest, hints of light caramel and some bready malt. Medium to medium-full body with a soft carbonation, a light to medium sweetness and a medium bitterness. The flavor starts with lightly sweetish pale malt, biscuit, some caramel, sweet stone fruit, peach, peach flavored fruit gum, grapefruit juice, bitter resin, some sweet tropical notes, hints of melon and papaya. Becomes more bitter towards the finish with bitter herbs and bitter resin. Finishes with a medium hoppy bitterness that significantly increases towards the finish. UPDATED: MAY 28, 2023 Bottle. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, citrus, some gooseberries, mild toffee and some passion fruity tones. Flavour is tropical fruits, floral, some mild spiciness with sweet malts and mild herbal tones too.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2023 Rocky white head left a large frothy head on a murky amber coloured body. Fresh hops, stone fruit & Medium bodied, soft, & foamy with a cloying back. Melon, pine, sweet citrus & tangerine tastes with a bitter grapefruit finish.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2023 A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous hops, light mineral notes, light cereals, light citrus, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2022 Color dorado con espuma blanca con buena retención. Aroma con leves notas cítricas y ligeras maltas. Sabor con amargor moderado, notas herbales, algo cítricas. Final ligeramente amargo, muy bebible.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2021 Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of fruity garlic hop, biscuity malt, citrus, grassy bitters and pineapple. Taste has grassy citrus, garlic hop, herbal bitters, pineapple, little pine and bready malt. Good, strange how bitter mosaic can be, kernel helps me remember.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2021 330ml bottle, 7.2 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. A stable, rocky white head over a hazy pale golden body, spotty lacing. Inviting smell of citrus and citrus shells. Robust taste of orange, grapefruit, and apricot followed by citrus peels towards a bitter ending. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Hotel room, Oslo 30.06.2021).

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2021 Lett tåkete gulbrun med hvitt skum. Lukter stenfrukt og sitrusskall. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Smaker barnål, sitrus og noe stenfrukt. Middels lang.
