Bijl (1431) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2018
Donker amnber, troebel, goed moutig, redelijke bitter. Smaakt me zeker wel. Vind het een redelijk en vooral doordrinkbaar moutig bier. Niets heel veel mis mee.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2018 Mousse fine, abondante. Ambrée trouble. Nez léger, un brin « métallique « (!). Bouche courte, finale sèche. Bof ...

Bottle @ home. Dark amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some sweetish brown candy sugar. Don’t get much more. Smooth mouthfeel.

Pours amber with a medium frothy off white head. Aromas of rye bread, malt, light fruity and floral notes. Taste is bready and malty with caramel notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Bio !

Amber color, hazy liquid and small head. Light aroma of caramel and wood. Taste not too sweet... something is missing.. but still an ok amber ale

jmgreenuk (12943) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - OCT 4, 2015
Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is big cheesy yeast, floral hop. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a light watery metallic lavender floral dry yeast palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

VDuquerroux (2681) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - FEB 7, 2015
Bottle, 33cL. Home. Gift from Virginie. A dark brown mahogany opaque beer with a medium off-white head ; average retention. Aroma of caramel, roast, biscuit, spice, acid note, herb, smoke. Light sweet, medium dry bitter. Medium body, thin smooth texture, good carbonation, sweet finish, herbal note. Overall, pleasant amber ale, well balanced.

Attractive colour but lacks foam. As soon as it goes down your throat your taste buds have already forgotten about it. Not bad but nothing to talk about really. On one hand it’s organic which is great. On the other hand the "grande bière..." on the label is down right immodest.

Leighton (26423) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2014
Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy, white head. Tangy malts in here with light, semi-ripe berries. Medium to full bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with light tanginess. Meh.
