UPDATED: MAR 20, 2023 Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some herbal and vegetable tones with mild earth. Flavour is caramel, vegetables and some berries to it.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2022 From the Bottle at Chris O's Pre-GBBF Shindig 10/08/2013 Low carbonation. Some hop aroma. Mid brown coloured and a little hoppy with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a malt finish.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2021 Old rating from 2018 - 330ml bottle. Pours brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, red berries, plum, orange, flora, earth & toasted malt. Medium body. Mild bitter finish

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2019 En bouteille. 330ml. Rich red stone fruit nose; ripe plum and nectarine with hints of lychee and root beer spice. Opaque garnet with an off white halo. It’s a well-tempered glass. Again, bags of red berry, plum and nectarine fruit with perfumed rooty spice, hints of earthy yeast, some backing bitterness, a light numbness of alcohol. Hints of grenadine and a subtle dusting of coriander, peut-être. Pretty good.

Donker amnber, troebel, goed moutig, redelijke bitter. Smaakt me zeker wel. Vind het een redelijk en vooral doordrinkbaar moutig bier. Niets heel veel mis mee.

Bottle @ home. Dark amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some sweetish brown candy sugar. Don’t get much more. Smooth mouthfeel.

Pours amber with a medium frothy off white head. Aromas of rye bread, malt, light fruity and floral notes. Taste is bready and malty with caramel notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Ambrée bien foncée, brune même trouble, reflets marrons, rouge terne. Belle mousse à très fine, microscopiques petites bulles frétillantes laissant un très fin collet. Nez de caramel, de céréales, de sucre, petite fraîcheur fruitée. En bouche pareil, assez binaire, le caramel est bon, il est bien définit, goûte le spéculos, la cassonade et le gâteaux, mais c’est très peu complexe, binaireet même on peut dire vite écœurant. Toutefois le corps soyeux et ample est agréable et ça se boit.Bio !
