COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Power of love is a truly unique pink colored Shandy created by blending Northwoods Gourmet Lemonade and a Wheat Ale brewed with raspberry and rosemary. Enticing sugary aromas intermix with appealing citrus and herb fragrances. Very sweet lemon flavors give way to a shock of tart raspberry before turning sharply dry, as if eating a piece of grapefruit. The finish is somewhat bitter and spicy, but quite satisfying.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2023 Smells of raspberries and lemons. The flavor is tart and lightly sweet. The raspberries and lemons are pleasant and refreshing. I don’t smell or taste rosemary. It’s pretty good though.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2020 Clear golden appearance with slight pink hues and a white head. Aroma of lemonade, mild raspberry, light sugary notes and a light herbal spice. Similar flavor, sweet and citrusy with a light body and a crisp zesty finish. Interesting.

12 ounce can from Liberty Beer in Pittsburgh. Despite the name, I am not in love with this beer.

7/24/2016 -- from notes: 12oz bottle, from Woodstock Wine & Cheese. Bottled 7/08/16. Clear kind of red, slight pink color. Airy bubbly white head. Fades to a minimal ring. Raspberry, lemon in the nose. Raspberry and lemonade in the flavor. A little bit of rosemary? Not sure that it's obvious, especially with the big sweet fruit. Bigger sweet, kind of sugary. Lighter body. Kind of lighter carbonation. Eh. Too sweet and sugary. Needs more balance.

Well, for a shandy, it's definitely different due to the herbal notes on the back end. A bit too sweet for my liking, but overall, I could crush this during the dead of summer by a pool.

On tap at WOB Easton. Clear golden with medium/big white head. Aroma is rosemary, medium body, low carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is lemonade, raspberry, and some rosemerry.

12 oz bottle from a grocery store in upper Michigan. Aroma is strong rosemary; raspberry is there, but it’s less in your face. Pours hazy orangeish-pink with a dissipating off-white head. Taste is both sweet and tart with flavors of rosemary, raspberry, lemon, bathroom cleaner. Tasty and interesting, even with the bathroom cleaner character.

First had this beer in Winter 2015 at Shorts. It was on tap and only available in a growler. Now, Holiday Market has 6 packs. This is a lovely summer beeer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Pink purple pour. This is a bit too sweet, if they cut out all that extra sugar this might be good.

Too sweet even for the style. No "tart, bitter or spicy" as the description claims. Pale pink color with little head or body.
