COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just as the break of a new day ushers in endless possibilities, this provocative variant of our popular Clear Sky Cream Ale awakens new and intriguing tastes. We infuse our pre-prohibition styled ale with light roast beans from Columbus’ own One Line Coffee in addition to robust vanilla. What results is an aroma that defies convention and a flavor that opens up like the new morning.

mcberko (41820) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 9, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2022 On tap at Wolf’s Ridge, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of coffee, vanilla and lactose. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, with subdued, heavily sweetened coffee, gentle lactose, and a touch of vanilla. Pretty solid flavoured coffee vanilla ale. A cream ale? Whatever it is, it’s decent.

AbbeyRoade (977) - Missouri, USA - OCT 8, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2022 Creamy yet still full of very sharp very darkly roasted bittersweet coffee for a balanced finish. Not very sweet but not too sour either from the strong coffee. Nice waker-upper in the middle of the day.

Tmoney99 (21142) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 17, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2022 Tap taster. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with very good lacing. Moderate coffee vanilla aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of medium duration. This beer met my expectations.

jsquire (6960) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 8, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 Flat golden color out of the tap. Big bubbled white head. Coffee and vanilla nose. This is a sweet beer with white sugar sweetness, followed quickly by coffee and vanilla wafers. The color did not indicate the flavor.

poisoneddwarf (5613) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - NOV 26, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2021 12 oz. Aroma has notes of coffee, vanilla, earth, nuts. Pours hazy golden with a small off-white head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is slightly sweet, faintly tart, finishing very dry, with coffee and vanilla flavors.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 Pint, draft at the Winking Lizard in Westerville, Ohio. Smell a little sour. Bright yellow with bright white head. Taste sweet and creamy. Has touches of coffee and vanilla also. Light bodied and smooth. Coffee aftertaste. Nice refreshing beer. Cheers!

AirForceHops (15037) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 7, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2021 12 oz. can. Born on 10 Nov 2020. Aroma is bold coffee with vanilla. The flavor pulls off the ice coffee character. Coffee, cream, vanilla, and light bitterness. Not a novelty at all. I could drink this with my eggs and bacon in the morning. It works!

tfontana (5576) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 3, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2021 Can (11/10/20) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! A clear, highlighter yellow with light, lazy sparkle, thin cap of white head that fades quickly to a ring and no lacing. Smell is strong roasted coffee, vanilla and cocoa. Taste follows aroma along with background crackers. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste with mild roasted bitterness. Overall, I'm a sucker for these coffee-flavored blonds so I'm digging it. A tad over carbonated. Wonderful balance of sweet and bitter coffee. I like it.

ben4321 (11312) - Metuchen, New Jersey, USA - JUN 11, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2020 12 oz bottle from Tavour, 6/11/20. Pours a mostly clear yellowish color, white head, mild lace. Tons of coffee on the aroma and flavor. Cream and a little sugar as well, but the coffee is the dominant thing here. This is pretty damn good. I know these golden colored coffee beers are more popular these days, but damn if the good ones don't always hearken me back to Carton's Regular Coffee, and to me, this feels like a sessionable version of that.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2019 On tap at Pins Mechanical Co, Columbus. Pours clear gold with a white head. Looks like a pale ale. Aroma: light roast, dough, cold brew coffee. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, cream, bitter coffee, hint of vanilla. Light to medium body, soft carb, semi bitter finish
