Panda thanks to Cloin. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good dark tan head, doesn't last very long. Rich viscous dark malts, good dark chocolate liqueur. Pretty intense coffee, rich espresso goodness but with that modern craft element or fruity coffee. Good ripe fruity bourbon, aged and slightly savoury. Airy finish leaves a rich chocolate cake linger. A very rich and rewarding brew.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2024 21Mar2024 Dry, dark roast malts, cacao, burnt toast, coffee, oak, subtle bourbon. Hazy, very dark brown, tiny, frothy, beige head. Light bitter. Bittersweet, dark roast malts, cacao, chocolate, coffee, oak, bourbon, soft carb, full bod. Outstanding, rich, balanced. Bottle.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2024 Bottle at home, picked up from an online peddler, 17/03/24. 2023 vintage. Pitch black with a dirty tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is coffee grinds, bourbon, dark malts, roasted notes, vanilla essence, decadent chocolate. Taste comprises bitter roast, coffee grinds, charr, dark malts, spice, bourbon blast, hint of coconut, molasses. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Top drawer well balanced BA impy ... carries a good bitter roasted bite so never runs sweet.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2023 Bottle, 500 ml shared with Luka, MiroB, kajser27, Cvrle, JFK10000. Black with brownish head. Intensive coffee and chocolate, coffee, bourbon, cocoa, very sweet.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2023 Black color, minimal dark brown head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, cacao, bourbon, maple syrup and slight vanilla. Taste of coffee, bourbon, chocolate, alcohol, vanilla, oak and maple syrup.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2023 Van 't vat. Zwart bier met een weinig bruin schuim. Geur: zoet, melasse, hout. Smaak: zoet, wat bitterzoet, alcoholisch, hout, wat esdoornsiroop, hint van koffie. Volmondig. Matige koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: warme alcohol gloed, kleverig zoet.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2023 500 ml bottle shared by Tmoney, from notes. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, light maple, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, light oak, syrupy body, warming alcohol, solid.
