Bouteille 33cl, BB 02/2018, merci Yann.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with touches of yeast. Sweetish, malty and fruity taste with notes of hops and grass and touches of yeast. Estery and grassy aftertaste. Decent.

330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a clear golden yellow color forming a medium light white head with medium to low retention and only few spotty lacings left in the glass. Nose is fruity and flowery. Notes of mango and vanilla. Slightly sweet upfront. Notes of mango, vanilla and berries. Medium to low bitterness. Fainty bitterness, quite disappointing. M: Medium to light body. Medium carbonation (I was expecting more). Berries in the aftertaste. O: Good drinkability. Not bad.

I bought this bottle from amstein and I drank this bottle, preparing the meal for the Christmas. In my opinion, it is a decent IPA. The body is copper, normal carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste has a sweet side for an IPA, grapefruit, hop, malt, sugar, well balanced and it is an easy IPA to drink. I am really astonished with the number of breweries in the Valais, because the wine is usually the king there.

anstei (2173) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - NOV 21, 2016
Bottle from Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours clear amber. Lots of piney hops, some grass too. And caramel and toasted malts, surprisingly. Body is medium, with both a strong bitterness and residual sweetness. Quite punchy. Lively carbonation into a malty palate, still going strong on the bitterness. Nice, but the caramel and toasted malts are a bit too much for my IPA taste.

Courtesy of Sottobisio Nice hoppy aroma. Taste sweet with bitter hoppy ending. Very drinkable and quite balanced

McWorta (1627) - LUXEMBOURG - NOV 2, 2016
Light opalescent, fluffy white head, good lacings. Aromas of passion fruit, green mango, green pineapple, dank grass paired with light notes of honey melon and strawberry, retronasal. Fine carbonation, light smooth with a medium yet slender body. Light hay, fruit sweetness up front with a well structured tropical fruit hop bitterness developping offering a light astringent touch with a refresing light dry finish.
