UPDATED: DEC 17, 2023 Copenhagen 17/12 2023. 33 cl bottle from Beershoppen webshop. Simple black label which says that I become what I drink. In this case a bitter old man. Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of citrus and grains. Sweet caramel and toffee. Grapefruit and citrus. Oranges. Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger and a bit sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a tad thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2023 Tjockt och fint beiget skum, ölet har en brunröd färg är lite grumligt från jästfällning. Kraftig humlearom av jord, blommor och grapefrukt, lätt kryddighet och stenfruktsestrar. Smaken är fyllig och stor, 'inget blask' som det ju heter! Maltighet och karamell gör sig påmind och ackompanjeras av en rejäl dos humlighet. Avslutet är mellantorrt med en bra beska som ligger kvar. Hög klunkabilitet och välkomponerat! En mycket bra och lite kraftigare bitter med mycket karaktär!

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2023 On cask at Bishops Arms - Malmö (Gustav Adolfs Torg), pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bitter English hops and toasted bready malt. Flavour is very bitter and malty, with lots of bitter English hops, dry bready malt, and a hint of caramel. Very long, bitter finish. Solid for the style.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2023 Goud geel bier met een mooie stevige witte schuimkraag. Het bier smaakt mooi stevig granig en heeft daarnaast een fijn zuurtje. Verder is het stevig bitter en gistig.
