UPDATED: SEP 19, 2019 Flaska från SB. Julöl 2016. Mörkbrun vätska med lågt skum. Kryddig doft med kanel, ingefära, sandelträ, chili, läder. Ganska söt och ganska lätt kropp. Mycket kryddor med en lätt träig ton i botten med lite drag av koltabletter. Annars smak som doften och kryddorna har hunnit gifta sig ok med ölet. Men fortfarande kanske mer kul än gott. Ok

UPDATED: APR 21, 2019 Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty spicy cloves and cinnamon caramel aroma. Roasted malty spicy caramel cinnamon and cloves flavor. Has a roasted malty spicy caramel and cinnamon finish.

Bottle 6% color is black with a medium beige head. Aroma is gingerbread maybe chili. Taste is burned malt aftertaste of alcohol, not my kind of beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with a beige head. Some roast in the nose with some Xmas spices blended in. Medium body, roast, slight tartness and again some spice - luckily fairly downplayed. Decent for a spiced Xmas brew. 141217

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2017 Aroma: chocolate, roasted malt, some orange and clove. Taste: roasted malt, some spices, some chocolate.

Dark, tight beige head. Dirty messy aroma, grains floor malted and turned by people wearing muddy boots. Taste ditto, has some elements of allspice. Medium palate, decent carbonation, but the finish is harsh and dirty. Rough.

330ml bottle (RBESG Grand Tasting 2017). Clear chestnut brown color. Small size, tan head, stays. Metallic, clove, maple syrup in aroma. Cinnamon, metallic, clove, spices and roast in taste. Dry mouthfeel. Clove and spices in aftertaste. Drinkable brew.

F: big, tan, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: malt, chocolate, sour fruits, cherries. T: malty, chocolate, cocoa, cherries, bit of spicy, medium body and carbonation, good, sample from 33cl bottle @ RBESG 2017, Grand tasting in Tallin, Estonia.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2017 Thick and fluffy brown head semi lasting. A complex aroma with Christmas spices and woody maltiness. Full body and a bit liqurish and dark roasted malt. Full body and varming taste.
