UPDATED: OCT 18, 2018 Aroma of cocoa, artificial maple syrup, cinnamon. Taste of sugar, cinnamon, cocoa. Super sweet, completely undrinkable. This is just chocolate sauce with artificial maple syrup flavorings.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Tipple, 25/07/18. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is rich in maple syrup, toasted waffles, chocolate, toffee, melted brown sugar. Taste comprises toffee fudge, chocolate, syrup doused waffles, maple streak, nutty snap. Full bodied, oily feel, light warming alcohol in the close. Fun stuff but overly sweet and lacking a bit of balance to be a great.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Tips. Pours black-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Nice ashy roast in the nose, secondary notes of maple, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour, notes of char, baking cocoa, background maple, burnt sugar, toffee. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, some bitter dark chocolate, more ash, maple, earth. Good stuff overall.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Tips. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and soft, modest fine carbonation. Soft smooth dark malts, little dark chocolate. Plenty of maple, loads. Little tangy sweet fruits. Mild pasty come waffle on the back end. Just a trace of bitterness on the exit. Warming afterglow. Nice but I couldn't drink a half of this.

KansaiBeerLvrs (6100) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 18, 2018
Bottle shared by Mick. Deep dark only black with a rusty wispy tan head. The aroma is increadibly rich maple pecan ice cream. Full bodied, super sweet but delicious. A bit cloying but tasty maple truffle pecan taste. Good stuff though some may find it overly sweet. Not sure how many people could finish a bottle on their own.

Truly exceptional beer. If you want a big, decadent stout, then look no further. The flavours are so intense in this stout, they will blow your socks off. Have had it in bottles at home and at the Buxton brew pub. If you love waffles, truffles and maple syrup (and who doesn't?) then you will absolutely love this beer. Part of the awesome Ice Cream range collaboration with Omnipollo. This one fully deserves its place in the top 50!

Bottle from Beers'n'more. Pours black with a deep brown head. Aroma is maple, truffle, toffee, caramel, dark chocolate, vanilla, booze, all a bit obscene but harmonic. Body is heavy, sweet and boozy, very intense. Flavour profile continues, with a low carbonation and hints of acidity, yet not enough to kill the punch. Fits well though. On the edge of being too much, but hitting all the notes perfectly. Great!
