Opulent and satisfying.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2024 2022 vintage, tap at Jihe Brewing, Nanjing, China. Pours dark brown, a little plum, with fine brown foam. Aroma is of coffee and chocolate, some plums, vanilla. Body is rather dense, with nice carbonation (fair such a stout). Taste is highly roasty, even pungent, but with some underlying sweetness. Final is rich and deep, on the sweet side.

Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout 2016
Alkohol: 12,5% obj.
Data rozlewu: 21.09.2016
Batch: 1309
Kolor: Czarny, nieprzejrzysty.
Piana: Bezowa, drobna, minimalistyczna. Nie ma co tutaj opisywac. Zanim aparat zdazyl ustawic ostrosc, piana zdazyla zredukowac sie do zera. Niestety ten stan rzeczy utrzymal sie juz do konca degustacji.
Dolaczyly do zabawy akcenty mlecznej czekolady, kakao, orzechów, a takze karmelu i toffi. Beczka po bourbonie jest bardzo wyrazna. Dorzuca od siebie odrobine wanilii i drewna. Bourbon nie dominuje. Wspaniale sie uzupelnia z palonych charakterem ziaren kawy. Cos pieknego!
Smak: W smaku mamy juz kawowe bajlando. Mam wrazenie jakbym siedzial w jakiejs dobrej kolumbijskiej palarni i popijal espresso. Intensywna beczka po bourbonie doskonale wspólgra z nutami czekolady, ciemnych owoców, wanilii, ciasteczek kokosowych. Dlugie kokosowe posmaki wypelniaja cale usta i podniebienie. Zerowe wysycenie sprawia, ze BCCS pije sie nadwyraz latwo i przyjemnie. 12,5% alkoholu równomiernie rozchodzi sie po calym ciele. Trunek rozplywa sie w ustach. Cudowny!
Wysycenie: Zerowe!
Podsumowanie:
Juz samo Bourbon County Breakfast Stout budzi w mojej glowie same pozytywne skojarzenia. Cala reszta dodatkowych walorów smakowo-zapachowych stanowi jedna z najpiekniejszych degustacji jakich mialem okazji doswiadczyc. BCCS to najlepszy RIS z dodatkiem kawy jaki kiedykolwiek pojawil sie w moich ustach! Poezja zamknieta w 500 ml butelce. Piwo warte kazdych pieniedzy!
