tontalus (1803) - - DEC 21, 2022

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2021 Medium foam, hazy golden color. In the nose dried herbs and spices, some earthen notes. Typical centennial smell. Fine bubbles on the tongue, taste of spices prevails. A hint of citrus. Very dry finish with a bit of a bite. It says what it does on the tin...nice.

Fin (17271) - Innernzell, GERMANY - JUN 29, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2020 Bottle picked up from Biervana, München. Had this Sunday 28th June 2020 talking beer and stuff with Jude and Baz. Pours dark gold with a white head, cooking the Blue Cheese Gnocchi that we were meant to have last night. Nice bitterness, fruity with grapefruit jostling with a piney resinous streak. Good bitterness, nice bittersweet balance. Lovely.
