Aroma/taste: barley, bread, caramel, light chocolate and light fruity notes. Palette: medium malty aroma, low to average carbonation, low to medium body, medium sweetness, somewhat balanced by a light to medium bitterness, average duration, light sweet finish and a watery texture. Overall: standard dark lager

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2023 Brown color with a medium light tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Roasted malts, cocoa, bread, nuts, caramel, and a semi-sweet finish.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2023 Had this beer last night for the first time in about 10 years. I had forgotten how smooth it is and the roasted malts flavors, WOW! No real hop flavor though, which is a little different.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2023 0.355 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before August 2023. Clear, reddish brown with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, cocoa and nuts. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit roasty taste of caramel, cocoa, nuts and some iron, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Far from fresh but quite drinkable, typical macro lager though.
