Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2019 I have had this on several occasions and it never disappoints. Pour is brown with a hint of red. Aroma of cherries. The flavor is of tart cherries. There is so much fruit it is almost like a wine. Delicious beer.

Interesting sirup but some side flavor make it strange. Aroma weird of cherry but strong wet towel. Color great: red copper. Aroma of cherry, some sour milk and wet towel again. Slightly sour finish. Strange, which makes you want to have more. And kind of good, I guess... 5/5/5/4/14 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2019 Deep ruby reddish appearance with a thin white pink foam. Pleasant aroma of tart cherries, sweet red fruit, light herbal/floral notes and a hint of oak. Similar flavor, moderately sweet and fruity with light tartness. Light body with a soft feel and a refreshing finish. Nice.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2019 12oz bottle at home, trade from MN. Pours mostly clear deep cranberry with a lingering thin white head. Loads of bright tart cherry, berry fruit, sweet earth, touch of funk. Mid-palate reminiscent of cherry Jolly Ranchers then the tart/sour kicks in, offsets the sweet and leaves a deliciously tart berry finish. Another excellent beer from these folks, they really know their fruits.

tfontana (2177) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - APR 5, 2019
UPDATED: APR 5, 2019 Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Fresh Thyme, Milwaukee. Appearance is mildly hazy reddish-orange with nice sparkle, less-than-finger width fizzy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet cherry--bordering on almost-too-much cough drop/syrup land, but pulls back just enough--with almost imperceptible tart/sour fruit in the background. Taste is a mix of sweet cherry and tart (like a Cranberry-Cherry juice cocktail). Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not particularly what I have in mind when I'm thinking I want a beer but well crafted and nice as fruit beers go. Amount of tart doesn't go over the edge for me because it has to counter strong sweetness. Good.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2019 Odd but good. Very tart but the sweetness fades very quick. I can’t explain it but I like it. Very very unique brew.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2018 Bottle st share. Murky pour, muddy violet color, thin ring of head. Aroma recalls a freshly opened jar of jam. Taste is wonderfully sweet and smooth, superb feel too. Sweet, hibt of tartness. Juivy. Excellent.
