motelpogo (7695) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 12, 2015
bottled, old rating. amber with a light haze and modest off-white head; aroma of stonefruit and golf course; plenty of syruppy sweetness and a hit of alcohol but some grassy bitterness keeps things in check

Ya no es lo que era, bajo mucho la calidad. Hace unos dias la tome en El Bolson, Araucana estaba en la fiesta del lupulo y tirada se asemeja mucho a una cerveza embotellada comun, al margen de que era tirada. Un fiasco.

I’m suprised this one lived up to the hype after tasting a couple of the other Araucana lines. It’s a very good beer. Not necessarily the best beer I’ve tried here but most of the better ones haven’t had any people rate them yet. A great drink reminiscent of the complexity of a Belgian strong ale. Smell is sweet with alcohol. Almost a kind of scotch, oaky taste. Look all over the place in El Bolson and Bariloche to find this line and finally got a 500 ml bottle at an ice cream parlour beside the craft market.

Nice beer...sin duda una cerveza de gran caracter, sin llegar a ser "dura",buena compañera de los productos regionales de su zona (Patagonia) como quesos ,ahumados, embutidos ,etc.

thomat (4444) - Goteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 6, 2009
Bottle at SMÖF -08 ( 1 year old ) Amber color with a thick, off-white head. Lots of malty & fruity notes. Fruitcake, malt and bitterness. Full body with a nice, bittersweet finish.

Ungstrup (51302) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2009
Bottled at RBESG 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and fruit, leading to a dry fruity finish. The alcohol burns in the throat.

RBESG 08. Cloudy amber with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt, dried fruit and sherry. Dry fruity flavour with figs especially, and some alcoohol.

Bottled@Monks Cafe, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Deep ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is raisins, malts, mild caramel and some hops. Also quite nutty as it warms up. Flavour is hops, sweet caramel malts along with raisins and mild notes of alcohol. Interesting doppelbock.

4.2
ekstedt (8338) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2008
From a bottle (50 cl) at SMÖF-08. Cloudy amber with creamy off-white head. Deep malty aroma with caramel, toffee, almonds, and som red berries. Full bodied and extremely smooth. Well balanced with a dry finish. A truly special beer.
