Reminded me of the apple ’champagne’ from Normandy in France. A happy balance of subtle fruit and acidity with a refined petillance - reminiscent of cap classique, as opposed to the coarseness of carbonation. Politely refreshing. Has the well mannered sociability of a finishing school graduate

I’m not sure if this is distinct from the other Foundry Cider I’ve had, but I know one was from Canada and this one was from South Africa, so I’m pretty sure I have the right one. A nice crisp sweet cider. Pretty typical. Not bad.

(Bottle 34 cl) Pours a pale golden with a fizzy, dissipating head. Lightly tart apple aroma. Medium body with lots of fizz, fresh, tart and rather authentic apple notes. Lightly tart finish. A pleasant and not too commercialized cider - in spite of its origin. 030508

<i<Bottled. Pale golden, brief fizzy head. Citric green apples make up the nose. Quite tart with clean, fizzy mouthfeel. Refreshingm though lemonady and without depth.
