UPDATED: APR 5, 2021 Couleur dorée et trouble, faible carbonation Odeurs boisées, d'agrumes, d'houblon et florales Première gorgée fraîche en bouche avec un arrière goût de fumées, florale et boisée, on sent des houblons qui relâchent leur amertume en fin de bouche et donne un côté sec et rafraîchissant à l'ensemble. Très désaltérante, elle ne me paraît toutefois pas assez complexe pour qu'on y revienne avec grand plaisir. C'est une bière de soif, que l'on boit à la pression de préférence et qui reste un bon choix pour une chaleur d'été, mais qui ne supporte pas la concurrence avec les nombreuses références actuelles.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2021 Dorée à grosse mousse blanche, senteurs de végétal et de citron, saveurs citronnées, maltées, épicées. Corps moyen, peu d'amertume. Sympa!

Nez: Céréales, citronné, herbacé Bouche: Céréales, citronnée, herbacée, épicée Une bière légère et rafraîchissante, notamment avec cette chaleur, sur des notes de céréales et citronnées avec un final plutôt herbacé et épicé accompagnés d'une petite amertume douce mais persistante.

Bottle @ Kings Day Tasting 2014 shared with Dutchdrebus. 5.6% ABV says bottle label. Murky yellowiah color, full sized frothy white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is quite fruity and floral, hints of peach. Taste lightly malts, quite floral, quite fruity and decently bitter. A bit dry in the finish, decent body and carbonation.

Bottle @ KDT14 @ benzai, 5.6% abv. Hazy/murky yellow with a medium to large sized white head. Smells some banana, malts, Belgian yeast, herbs, peach. Tastes herbs, floral, malts, fresh, slightly grassy and slightly hoppy. Medium body, nice carbo.

Medium white head. Hazy amber body. Light mealy orangey resiny aroma. Dry-sweet orangey toffee and candy taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish sugary orangey mealy aftertaste with spicy wooden strawy notes. Nice, drinkable, mellow. (0.33l bottle, from Couleurs de Bieres, Montpellier. Bottle stated ABV 5.8%.)

A hazy amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices and fruit. The body is thin.

Misty golden orange body. Nice balanced yet modern blond, with light hoppy grassy aroma and caramel malts. Smooth carbonation, not as expressive as the new lower alcohol version and less bitterness. Still a good drinkable brew. (33cl bottle from Au Nom De La Bière)

Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, grass, malt. flavour is yeast, fruit, malt, hop, pine. Medium body. OK beer.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120623]
