Martinsh (2837) - Crewe, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2023 Cask at Boot, Chester – but first drank this beer in 1978 ! This was served way ridiculously cold, so had no taste, and in very dimpsy light. Anyway, pours bitter brown with a medium sized off-white head. Not much of an aroma just some sweet malts. In the mouth it is malty. Starts off sweet and watery but some bitterness comes through later. Some hints of nuts and spices as well. It’s OK.
