Aroma/taste: barley, bread, light citrus, light caramel, light stressed yeast and grassy notes. Palette: medium hoppy aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration, light dry and bitter finish and a watery texture. Overall: decent conservative IPA

DraftDodger (7618) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2022
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2022 Copenhagen 14/2 2022. 33 cl bottle from Systembolaget, Emporia, Hyllie. Green label with Jämtlands brewery pretty cool logo with the 'J' turning into a snake. Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized yellow-ish head. Stable. Settles as thin, but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with light citric notes. Sweet malts with a bit of caramel. Peach and oranges. Light whiff of citrus and lemon. Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry. Solid Indian Pale Ale with a decent bitter bite.

Gangstergafje (3203) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2021 11-11-2021; bottle; at the Swedish house (bought at Systembolaget, Filipstad, Sweden). The looks of the beer are nice. The colour is a nice rather dark amber, approaching copper. The beer is crustal clear. On top there is some frothy yellowish foam. Foam retention is low and only a minimalistic drape is left. The aroma of the beer is nice. Malts give some biscuity notes. There is a touch of strawberry jam in there, fruity and nice. I sense that in a lot of beers. Touch of caramel too. Nice blend. Hops are herbal, almost the hop bouquet of an English Bitter. Herbal and a bit spicy, but with in the back a touch of citrus. Quite nice. It is not your ordinary IPA. The hops are more that of a Bitter and the malts are quite prominent, but it works really well. Nice. The taste is also nice. It is bitter from the hops, with some acidity from that citrus touch and just enough sweetness to balance it out. Overall it is quite bitter, but not out of proportion. Good work. The mouthfeel is nice too. Medium body, slickly slick texture and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is nice too. Nice dry bitterness with a touch of citrus in the back. All in all, an interesting beer. Not a completely style specific IPA, but it does work out. Bra.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2021 Bottled 330ml. -Dark orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, orange jam and light caramel in the nose. Perfumed oranges, caramel, light herbal notes and evident oxidation with bitter/sweet finish.

PITOPIETHO (1278) - POLAND - DEC 12, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2020 Cytrusowo żwiczne. Przyjenna goryczka, fajny, oldschoolowy profil.

God!

Inte någon IPA jag rekommenderar egentligen. Ingen härlig humleton och egentligen ingen snygg smakbild heller. Lågt betyg. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
