Light honey and bread aroma, as expected. The taste follows the nose with more sweet malt and less bread flavor. Very unassuming and easy drinking. 3.8 Belching Beaver Sling Yer Hook Copenhagen 9/6 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. A Beaver in an orange suit smoking a pipe on the label. Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head. Bubbly. Disappears more or less after a minute. No lacing. Aroma is intense with a sweet and bit candy-like odor of malts and alcohol. Sweet chocolate, salty caramel, brown sugar in abundance and dark alcohol. Light carbonation.Rather thick, oily, viscous, soft, a little sticky, flat texture. Flavor is intense with a strong and a bit heavy sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingering. 2.8 Belching Beaver Death by Blueberry Copenhagen 8/6 2024. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Light blue can with a basket og blueberrie. Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is fairly intense with a odor of sweet malts and sugary ripe berries. Sweet blueberries and sweet, pale mats. Tart notes. A bit artificial. Light carbonation. Thin oily, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately string tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers For a bit. Dark blue can with the name pf the beer in gold and Belching Beavers logo with a gaping Beavers head. Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a small white head, Bubbly, Disappears after a few seconds leaving what looks like urine from troubled gentleman. No lacing. Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a little tart fruit and metallic alcohol. Sweet pale malts, bread and corn. Lemon. Strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture. Fizzy. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. 4.1 Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout 355ml can. Pours black with a decent tan head. Aroma is true to the can; peanuts, smooth & sweet dark roast malts. Beer is medium to light, mid sweet & true to teh aroma; strong peanuts & dark roast malts with the smoothness of the oats & low bitterness making it an easy to drink stout. You obviously have to like the idea of peanuts in your stout but if you do, this should satisfy. An imperial version would be even better but you can have a few of these without endangering anyone. Moderate roasted grain for the malt, moderate orange peel and orange blossoms for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with fresh peach and guava in the background. Head is large, frothy, white, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is pastel light straw. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter.
