hopdog	3.5 Flossmoor Station "Hoppy, Hoppy, Joy, Joy" IPA 22oz, purple waxed bottle that I have no idea why it was still in my cellar. Poured a golden color with an averaged sized head. Did this show this age ... yes. Did the classic IPA profile of this fade ... yes. That being said, it was still drinkable and a bit surprisingly so. Thursday, September 21, 2023

Aroma has white wine and light fruits with a touch of tart stone fruits underlying. Flavor has light fruits and a slightly dirty white wine with a tartness in the finish. Saturday, June 24, 2023

nickd717	3.8 Flossmoor Station Wooden Hell Private Reserve Bottle pours nice dark amber with a small off-white head. Toffee caramel oak bourbon aroma. Flavor is medium sweet and nice toffe and dark fruits, just a little cardboard oxidation. Fuller body, good carbonation. Not what Wooden Hell used to be but still solid. Sunday, March 12, 2023

Holy hell, it smells just like the black wax… oak, caramel, toffee, old oak. Flavor is, well… raisins, toffee, and mild oxidation. Ok maybe a VERY slight difference in body. ClarkVV	2.8 Flossmoor Station Wooden Hell Private Reserve 2017 bomber drunk 11/11/22. Clear amber-auburn. Dark beige head to spotty lacing. Smells like oxidized, barrel aged barleywine. Tastes like oxidized, barrel aged barleywine. Heavy caramel, vanilla, some spice, too much sugar and caramel. Alcohol. Nothing interesting, just intense caramel sweetness. douglas88	4 Flossmoor Station Beelzebeer (Batch #666) Bottle thanks to Todd. Pours a almost pitch black hue with a tiny white head. Really looks like a stout. A big malty nose, roast and chocolates. Really flavorful, huge chocolate, milky, roast, some caramel. I don't get this being a ASA, this is a stout. Very nice. This bottle is quite old, it has held up perfectly. Monday, March 14, 2022
douglas88	3.8 Flossmoor Station Hi-Fi Rye Wine Wax (yellow white) dipped 22 ounce bottle thanks to Todd. Quite a story here. Anyway, the bottle is pretty old. Not sure exactly. Chilled it down a bit. Pours a ruddy brown hue with a large beige head. A big boozy malty nose. Very big sweet malts, oxidation, sweet toffee, caramel, pine, there's some hops in there trying to shine. Bitter rye. I've drank a lot of old beer, and this is pretty much what it often tastes like. The oxidation doesn't bother me at all. Quite good. I'd love to try this fresh, re-make it! italianjohn	4.1 Flossmoor Station Barrel Aged Shadow Of The Moon Black pour with a thick beige head and thick bands of lacing …… aroma of dry oak, bourbon, licorice, chocolate, dark fruits, boozy for only being 8.6% …. Taste is of oak, bourbon spice, it’s like sucking bourbon straight from the wood, chocolate, light licorice and sweet dark fruits …. Drinks way bigger than 8.6% …. Lots of rich bourbon flavor …. Dry finish with wood, licorice, chocolate and bourbon …. This beer has aged extremely well … have no idea the age definitely over 10 years old …. Mouthfeel is somewhat creamy, slick and oily …. Big bodied …. I’m impressed, clean and innocent imperial stout before they were ruined by adjuncts Friday, July 30, 2021

Aroma is of molasses, roasted malts, chocolate, nuts and toffee …. Taste is of roasted malts, chocolate, nuts, toffee and molasses…. Sadly with age the aroma is stronger than the taste …. Flavors have balanced out and it’s soured … flat flavor wise….. shame don’t age this and it should have been kept in cold storage as they suggest on the bottle ..:. ccex	4 Flossmoor Station Island Jumper 16 oz. can pours a hazy golden color with modest creamy white head that coats the glass with lacing. Aroma has coconut, melon, and pineapple. tmoreau	3.3 Flossmoor Station Parlor Series: Orange Sherbet On tap and self-served to plastic at the 2019 Chicago Beer Society Umpteenth Annual Picnic showing a cloudy, orangey hue, with a soft white/cream colored layer of froth that produced a sheet-like coating of lace on the cup. The nose was sweet, creamy, with orange that was expressive, but lightly artificial in it's fruity expression. Ditto on the flavor, with light to medium body and fair carbonation, adding some citrusy astringency. Listed on the picnic beer menu as 6.4% ABV. Friday, September 13, 2019

cbfobes	4.1 Flossmoor Station Wooden Hell I don’t rate anymore but figured this one was worth the time. Had at GTMW 2019 with absolutely nobody waiting for the yapped time release, crazy. Dark murky brown pour with a thin brown head and some lacing on the glass, the aroma has a strong sweet molasses like front with the barrel coming through as well. The flavor of the barrel is subtle but absolutely there, cherry and caramel mixed in with molasses. Tasty stuff. Sunday, August 11, 2019
