Anything comparable to Killians Irish Red?

Message jrs1940 14:50 Tue 7/26/2005 Hi all New to the site. I work for a cruise line, and we have a guest that wants a case of Killians Irish Red when they board our ship in the UK. Problem is, they don’t have Killians overseas, its just made for amateur drinkers here in the US who think it makes them cool to drink Killians until they hurl. Anyway, is there a beer sold in Ireland or the UK that is comparable to Killians? thanks, Jim

Even if it tastes different, the fact that it has the same name might be just good enough for someone that you’d call an "amateur drinker". Or any boring amber lager you can find would do the trick.
