The debate was whether you’re allowed to be happy. Prices went up. Smiles turned to frowns.

So the collab called Strange Times for Modern Fellows is sold at 15.50$ in some shop that I visited, minus 10% if you are Camra (that’s 13.95$), maybe even less in other shops, but... 16.10$ at the brewery!!!
This doesn’t even get categorized as dumbness, this is pure greediness (already, 15$ for a bottle is insane; try to remember your reaction when you found any beer above 8$ just 5-6 years ago...)
Congrats, Strange Fellows!

Yesterday, Hill Farmsted tap takeover at a bar in Rome. Just saying... The difference between world class bar and minimum effort bar

Happyness has been rebrewed by Machine/Superflux, and this new batch is sooo much better than the first!
Go and look for it.

Parallel 49 has increased their prices on bottles.
Now, Parallel 49 was a very convenient choice, and it’s still a fair price, but the way they did this has been a dick move; basically the prices on the fridge at the brewery are the same, but before the price included tax, now they will add tax to the bill.
So a bottle of Holy Smokes was $5.25 two months ago; it’s still listed as such but you pay $6.04 now.
They chose to change their policy trying to hide the bump, rather than just changing the price and sticking to the modern accepted policy (include tax in the price).
Why one cannot take full responsibility of his acts and be open?
A change of price is acceptable.
But the way they treat their customers like dumb asses is not!

I used to bitch about price --- but now I only complain about value. Some beers deserve a higher price but many don’t meet a minimum value for what you’re paying.
