Wein Kultur had the big ones but was selling them for 19€95 which I found to be a bit overpriced. He told me he had to drive to the brewery to get them. Would love to try them, but not at that price.

I went there last September, it was a dull restaurant in a smelly hotel, and nothing would indicate they had anything else than the usual Helles/Dunkel/Export... I went there again this spring only after noticing the IPA/APA on these pages. And then I also found the 3 bigger sisters, this time on display on the counter. I didn’t ask much, but they have a "young" brewer, they told me, who likes to experiment; possibly a new guy since you were there a few years ago... By the way, I ended my project in June, I’m out of Germany for the moment; I miss those Helles all around B-W...

Message Erlangernick beers 6 º places 2 º 00:24 Tue 8/23/2011 They responded to me in a day or two. Of course, it’s August now, and this means half the country is in Spain or Italy. Indeed the brewer does appear to be very young. Somewhere online, there’s a photo of him but I can’t find it at the Brauereiwebseite. He is to be commended, but he needs to switch to a drier yeast. And send some to me for free on a regular basis.
