Hard liquor, neat. I like rum, as well as all sorts of digestives - grappa, schnapps or their equivalent from any country

Do you like Strega, I always drink loads of it in Italy.

Not a lot anymore. Occasionally, I’ll sip on some bourbon. I’ve pretty much stopped drinking any hard alcohol.

Same here. I’ll occasionally sip a (Bourbon/Canadian/Irish/Scotch) whiskey ALONGSIDE a beer.
Otherwise very little although:
I do love champagne and gin & tonic, it’s rare that I have any.

Rarely drink beer at my house. Usually it’s cocktails and wine. Beer with food is usually gross, prefer cocktail before and wine during. Usually a brown liquor cocktail. Lots of amarro and other random garbage tossed in. Been on a big chartreuse kick jyst lately.

Sometimes your best alternative really is water, iced tea, or lemonade. Lots of places have great food but meaningless beer lists.

As far as other preferences (rather than good alternatives):
Single malt scotch (many average blends are fine but just not as interesting)
Good red wine (it’s hard to even finish a glass of fruity, sticky jug wine)
Good white wine (people who know how to pick good whites seem to be one of the rarer breeds of wine geek)
Sake is good with sushi
Cider is good once in a while, especially at the source. Lots of cool cideries in WA
Meads are nice if you are in a state where you can handle that much sugar
You just said a whole bunch of nothing.

I believe you feel that way.

Gin or bourbon, either on their own or in cocktails. Whine every now and then. Usually have some Brännland ice cider once or twice a month.

Love gin, port wine, red wine, sherry

White wine (or 99% of), whisky, bourbon, vodka, cocktails, mead, sake, tequila etc etc are all just OK. Scroll past

Would mostly drink port and sherry if not beer I think
