Sunday stop 2 The Junction Greene King pub but with guests. OK.

Sunday stop no.3 South Western Arms lovely interior and we found a beer Steve actually liked. Woohoo.

Sunday stop no. 5 Bookshop Alehouse. Very good micropub. Good gen from barman.

Sunday stop no. 6 Guide Dog. Not only not the best pub in Southampton but not the best pub today. Decent beer line up but nothing to set the pulse racing.

We are now in what has been officially the best pub in Southampton for over a decade. It is still the dreary old man’s pub that I came to two years ago and despaired.

Sunday last stop Rockstone. No.7 Beer festival lots of new beers. I blame SilkTork for not being up to date. Could have got more scoops. Cracking pub.
