Nice dark place in the cellar. Not crowded. Good selection.

This is a cool bar in the basement of an ancient building. The vibe was pretty laid back on our visit: dim lighting, rustic interior. The bartender was great and he was really into beer. With such high quality of beer available basically everywhere in this town, not everyone who's behind a bar with this kind of selection may be a beer geek. Coming from America, I was really enamored with this bar and the few others similar to it. I can see how locals may not see exactly why it's so special. The beer list is phenomenal for what it is (obvious Belgian beer bar), but if you're stacking it up against the competition, there isn't anything particularly standout except the decent list of lambic. We really enjoyed our visit and the concept of sipping on a properly served, classic Belgian beer in this kind of setting is cool to me.

Relaxed, studenty-looking cellar bar. Service was OK. Bottle list was pretty big but did not feature anything particularly special. Prices seemed OK. On the whole, a pretty nice place to hang out.

Huge cellar bar, lovely inside but a fairly unexciting selection of the Belgian standards. Worth a visit as a nice bar, but not particularly for the beer selection.

Good selection of beers and good service for the one person that seemed to be working behind the bar. Unfortunately, it was later at night and the loud music, mostly full bar and dark setting reminded me more of a college bar that just happened to have good beer. Maybe it would be better to visit earlier in the evening.

On my first visit this was my favourite Bruges establishment. I still enjoyed my visit but its changed a lot. Easy to miss cellar bar.The beer range has been culled somewhat but still has plenty to be going at including gueuzes. No longer table service, but at least you get your beer faster now. Still has a few comfy chairs, but mostly small tables and less cluttered than before.
