rand	4.3 Laugar Aurrera Stanitsa Very dark brown with just a semblance of brown napping that quickly dissipates. Torrefied aromas, malt and coffee, smoke, molasses. Taste is thick, powerful, torrefied malt and very coffee, dark chocolate, vesou sugar, molasses. Notes of nuts, spices, confectionery and alcohol. A great beer, warm, long and greedy. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is Port wine sweetness with some mild alcohol, nutty and a bit coffee tones. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average to huge, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Chocolately and slightly roasty, dark malty as well as slightly spicy and nutty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, couverture, some cinnamon, tonka bean, coffee overtones. Taste is sweet, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty and slightly spicy, minimally nutty, notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate, couverture, some tonka bean, coffee; some roasty and hoppy bitterness in the finish, increasing/accumulating intensity of the tonka bean flavours. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious composition, fairly complex, balanced - nice sipper. Sunday, March 24, 2024

Low sweetness, dry, woody, rich, bold. The barrel character adds strong vinous sherry notes, with red fruits, wood and tobacco spicy notes. Full body, low carbonation, high viscosity, alcohol warmth.
