Zlotta	3.1 Perlenbacher Weizen-Mix Grapefruit 0.5 l can from local 'LIDL', best before March 2025. Hazy, pale orange with a thin, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a bit sourish, rather fruity aroma of grapefruit and traces of banana. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, a little sourish, rather fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of lots of grapefruit, some banana and traces of clove, followed by a short, gently bitter, minimally tartish finish. Appearance - simple label, coudy orange in color. From - pint Taste - weak fruits, grapefruit. Very grapefruity, juicy, sweet, weak bitter tones. Not too beery, but very grapefruity. jmgreenuk	3.1 Argus Strong Beer 500ml can from Lidl, Ferenciek Tere, Budapest. Poured a crystal clear golden amber colour with a lasting frothy white head and plenty of champagne bubbles. The aroma is corn, light gluey yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a crisp, malt, bready, earthy, light herbal, warm alcohol, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Aroma is semi sweet, banana bread, caramel, banaoffee, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of mineral, chalky, flaked wheat, little thin, banana phenols, . The aroma is malt and bready yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, gluey yeast, toffee, herbal, light hop bitter palate. Sweet taste balanced with mild fruity sour notes. Aroma of caramel malt, ripe fruits, citruses. Phenolic, yeasty. Light spice notes, minerals. Lingering alcohol in the background, slightly warming. Marko	2.4 Argus Lager Temporary placement. Argus Lager, 5%, brewed at Van Pur's Jędrzejów plant. Bought at Lidl Bucharova Prague, and drunk while Switzerland cheating its way to the Eurovision Song Contest win was being made official. Full golden body, thick white head. Sweet red and green apple notes over some soft maltiness in the aroma. Lean, soft taste, some apple and malty touches, grainy maltiness vaguest of herbal hop touches. I mean... meh? ciupakabra	2.4 Perlenbacher Export Kolor: Złoty, klarowny. Piana: Biała, obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, żwawo obrączkuje, zostawia nieco śladów na ściankach szklanki. Aromat: Zbożowy i to trochę takie mokre zboże, dalej nuty słodowe i jakby orzechy, które dość szybko uleciały. Smak: Idzie lekko w stronę wytrawności, dużo nut zbożowych, znowu te dziwne posmaki i niewysoka goryczka. Wysycenie na średnim poziomie, treściwość dość niska, przeciętna pijalność, alkohol ukryty. Słabe piwo albo się po prostu trafiła gorsza warka, ale nawet do znietrzeźwienia można znaleźć coś smaczniejszego w podobnej cenie. Thursday, May 9, 2024

Ligero aroma a malta y cereal en grano, con un minúsculo toquecito floral, el aroma es muy suave, pero no es en absoluto desagradable. En boca es ligera, muy refrescante, algo dulce de entrada y con un final llevaderamente amargo, notas de malta, pan, cereal...en el retrogusto aparece una ligerísima nota metálica, pero nada insalvable. Kolor złotym głęboki, klarowny, piana biała, dość obfita, niespecjalnie trwała. W smaku pełne, słody, spieczony chleb, jasny karmel, trochę ciastek, lekki ekstrakt słodowy, suszone zioła, odrobina nut kwiatowych i niewiele poza tym. Goryczka niska, ale obecna, tostowa, karmelowa, lekko ziołowa, nie do końca ułożona. W ustach dość pełne, ale dalej pijalne, lekko wysuszające. Nasycenie wysokie. Thursday, May 2, 2024
