MartR	2.9 Sillamäe München Vaskne From tap to bottle at ElavÕlu. Looks bright amber and clear. Tastes light with a whole bunch of grains. Some caramel malts and coffee notes join in . Finishes off with herbal hops. At halfway point you could notice the alcohol level is slightly higher for this style. Good and definitely has more to offer than some "crafts". The beer had a darker gold color with a slightly amber hue and a foamy white head that was good-sized with average retention, cling, and lacing. The aroma featured floral and earthy hops with some lively straw and yeast notes. The taste was a sour-bitter blend with grainy and floral notes and a bit of straw. Kauge	2.9 Sillamäe München Vaskne Tap at Põrgu in Tallinn (€ 2,50 for 33 cl), August 2014. Clear dark amber / light mahagony, off-white small head - no lacing, doesn’t stay for long. Looks great against candlelight. Nose is candy-like, almost artificial caramel, killing off everything else; gets more malty later, something ashy too. Taste is caramelly, malty-grainy, with a very slight metallic aftertaste, and a modest spicy tingle. Light to medium body, mild carbonation; sticky, even syrupy palate. A slightly bitter, grainy and sugary, dry finish. Would not believe it to be 6,2 % ABV. Quite tasty. Sunday, August 17, 2014
