GarrettB	3.9 Green Flash Natura Morta - Plum November 25th, 2016 - Notes for Batch 1, this has a peach colored hue to it, and a murkiness that promises some chew on the mouthfeel. Sourness leads the aroma, followed by a strawberry short cake sweet note, blueberries and an underlying acidity that keeps the olfactory on alert. My drinking partner also observes that there is a woody, vanilla note that has a nice sharpness to diversify the flavor. The flavor is notably good, and where the vanilla note becomes a little richer. There's also some soft pear and vanilla ice cream, and some tannins in the mid flavor offering a bracing hit of bitterness. There's also a plum note overseeing the whole flavorful experience, making this one of the more notable Green Flash beers I've ever had. Friday, December 8, 2023
Fin	3.9 Green Flash Imperial West Coast IPA Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop, Breda, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 12th November 2023, we have a homemade Chicken Rendang for tea and for dessert the Vanilla Ice Cream and Baked Apples as we never had them last night. Pours almost completely clear gold with a white head, soft mouthfeel, nice bite, significant malty backbone to this, a little bit about of pine and maybe some tropical touches as well that I'm picking up. colui72	4.3 Green Flash West Coast IPA A classic West Coast IPA from the West Coast IPA world capital. Brewed with 6 hops (including the quintessential Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus and Cascade). On the nose: pine needles, grapefruit zest, citrus pulp, floral notes. Ale and caramel malts are fragrant and go along the hop aromas perfectly. Clean fermentation. Pours clear amber, a very creamy ivory head with high retention and beautiful lacing. Bitter, damn bitter, old school IPA, hop forward but with a great malty backbone to balance. Hops deliver grapefruit zest, citrus, mango, pine. Malts blend in a hint of caramel. Clean and smooth. Medium body and carbonation, minor hop-burn, easy to drink. A very WCIPA WCIPA! Fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, apricots, oak wood, barnyard and vinegar. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, blood orange, apricots, vinegar, oak wood, red wine, barnyard, brett and a generous acidity in a finish with a fairly low bitterness. TkmLinus	4 Green Flash West Coast IPA 12 oz can. Smells of grapefruit and pine with a hint of malt. Like a "true IPA". Clear and lighter amber in color. Nice malt and hop balance. Getting slightly sweet malts followed by a grapefruit pith and pine resin. Bitter finish with a hint of sweetness from the malt. Very nice example of the style! Saturday, February 4, 2023

Aroma is coffee, some tobacco, smoke as well as some alcohol, toffee and mild leathery/spicy notes. Flavour is leathery, some roasted malts, coffee, some tobacco and mild toffeeish notes. ClarkVV	4.1 Green Flash Rayon Vert Bottles and draught upon release back in 2011 or so. Mostly clear, bronze-brass-maize. Large, pillowy-white head showing moderately-strong retention. Nose is very well-expressive of a nicely-developed brett conditioning. Comparing it to Helios or something like Stillwater's brett golden, it comes off a little more powerful, with strawberry, spice and maybe a hint of herbaceous wood. Malts are deeper and more sumptuous adding rich honey and dough. Clean, no alcohol noted. Soft and malty, good attenuation though still plentiful honey-like character to balance the rich cherry-strawberry-lime of the Brett. Lower Sacch. character than some of the others here, with ample woody bitterness lingering. Monday, August 29, 2022

KevinReddirt	3.8 Green Flash San Diego Fuego I have a 16 oz can by way of the local craft beer joint chilled and pouring into my Great Heights tulip glass. A clear light gold with a bare ring of white foam, strong carbonation though. Decent enough nose with some tropical and some hops. The drink is pretty nice, a bit of mango, oranges, white bread, a little pine and varnish. More sweet to it than bitter, it works. Substantial sensation. Good brew, not great imo. Aroma of vanilla, lactose, earthy, spices mostly allspice, cinnamon with some roasted and chocolate malts …. Taste is of spicy ginger, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg with vanilla, earthy flavors and sweet lactose …. Bitter on the back end and into the finish which has the pumpkin spices lingering for quite a bit ….. pretty weak for a pumpkin porter, too sweet for a pumpkin ale ….
