Flavour is unusual for an ice cider, with a chestnut character upfront, some boiled vegetables, caramel and toffee. Sweet but not cloying. That chestnut character is sure unusual. Nose is very odd, kitchen spices, lightly metallic, light anise, apples,… Taste is odd plastic apples, some booze coming across in light varnish fashion, plastic mixed with anis & kitchen spices,… Oily,… There is something odd here that I am not much of a fan of, it just rubs me the wrong way, odd plastic & anise + spices that I cannot identiy tasting ice cider.
