Nutty slightly sweet flavour which makes for a very drinkable mid range beer. This brewery is a co-operative which is a good enough reason IMO for supporting it. This is also a good beer. A little coffee, dark malt and umami on the nose, roasty and burnt, lightly sweet with hints of coffee, liquorice and chocolate. A slightly tart-sour overtone, and a bit sticky on the finish.
