Tasting at Matt’s
Muddy orange-red-blond color. The aroma of cinnamon reminds the smell of cinnamon bubble gum, and some wax. Sweet and smooth mouthfeel; the cinnamon (cassia?) is evident but not too aggressive, although it has that biting feeling on the tongue similar to the mentioned bubble gum.
Not a mead, but a nice drink.

Pours murky red with no head. The nose is red hot candies and cinnamon buns. The taste is cinnamon, honey and Big Red gum. Medium bodied. Nice. 4.1

Nip bottle, sent from deyholla (thanks a lot, Derek), pours a cloudy pinky peach with a tiny white head. Nose brings out a nice mix of cinnamon, honey and alcohol -- not as ridiculously cinnamony as the Cinnamonster from Hell. Flavour brings out loads of cinnamon, balanced beautifully by honey, and a touch of alcohol. Much more well-balanced than the other Cinnamonster I’ve had, with an amazing balanced of flavours. Really a wonderful mead here. Fantastic stuff.

Poured a murky orange color with aromas of cinnamon, light sugar, a touch of honey and some vanilla. Flavors were big cinnamon, and some light sweet honey to cut some of the heat. Another solid mead from these guys.

Im not sure what went into this one besides the cinnamon but wow this is tasty. Really nice vanilla type notes makes this taste like cinnamon cake. Really nice and potently cinnamon without overpowering everything else. Honey and vanilla are secondary flavors that really add to this great mead.

Old bottle, old label, thanks wavers! Straight cinnabons, like an iced cinnabon at the mall

Bottle shared with some bouls at Capones. Pours a murky orange red color with no head or lacing. Aromas and taste of cinnamon apple pie, nothing else, just magical crustiness and rich saigon cinnamon. More flavors of washington apple pie crust, vanilla, sticky bun, brown sugar, and i like thome50s comparison to cinnamon toast crunch. No booze present as usual with Kuhnhenn meads. Luxurious and magical. I dont know why i drink beer when there is liquids like this on the market.

Bottle. Pours light fluorescent orange. Nose/taste of fresh cinnamon, honey cake and vanilla. Nose is absolutely packed with cinnamon. Very fragrant. Very smooth and well balanced. Not packed with "heat" like Cinnamonster from Hell. Medium body.

Bottle via Secret Santa Summer 2011. Pours a vibrant orange/red with no head. Aroma is CINNAMON beyond belief. This smelled like a bomb went off and nothing but cinnamon was left to pick up the pieces. Some honey sweetness but very little. Taste was surprisingly very well balanced. This tastes like cinnamon toast crunch. Sweetness, not beyond belief, and just the right amount of cinnamon which is shocking for how much the nose gives off. Overall, an excellent mead. Would get this again in a heartbeat but really can’t drink more than 1oz in a sitting.

I like cinnamon but not sure about that anymore... pours a deep murky red/ brown color that is still. The color with the sediment mixed in, is even more intense red. smell is a BLAST of cinnamon and sweet honey. taste is potent cinnamon, almost to the point of red-hots cinnamon. mouth feel is rich and a bit spicy. I can enjoy .5 oz but 6oz is not for me. thankfully there was one person who really liked it and finished the bottle
