COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Aroma: sweet cherries, kinda pleasant. App: murky gold, medium white head. Taste: like cherry syrup, almost tastes like cough medicine but not quite as thick. Palate: Thick, almost like a porter. Highly carbonated. Short finish. Overall: Barely drinkable quite frankly. I can see the appeal for people who don’t like good beer though.

Hazy gold pour with a white head. The is very close to a cherry Jolly Rancher. It has a medium body with average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with some light tartness.

12oz Flasche. Braun-rotes Bier mit luftigem Schaum. Kräftiger Kirschduft. Geschmack herbe Kirsche an der Grenze zur kandierten Kirsche. Im Abgang auch Hefe und etwas Säure. Mir hat es geschmeckt.

Very smooth and easy drinking beer, the taste reminds me of a cherry dr.pepper without the sweetness of it. Would recommend.

Cheery syrup added t a light beer, my opinion. Very artificial, weird palate, highly carbonated but could not get past medicinal cherry cough syrup.

Bottle. Strong cherry aroma. Drinking this, I would definitely ID it as cherry, although I don’t know if it tastes like "real" cherries. The problem is it’s sweet and feels a bit thick, undercutting any refreshment value. Would have benefitted from a bit of tartness.

12 oz. bottle. Pours cloudy with foamy white head. Aroma of cherries. Tastes of cherries, medium sweetness. I enjoyed this beer.

Fizzy brown beer. Smells of artificial cherries and sugar, almost like cherry cough syrup or those cherry cordials. Taste is the same. Palate is off-putting due to the cloying sweetness from the artificial flavors. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought this was from some other Macro brewery like Am-Bev. Then again, if it was, it would have been at least watery enough to drink. With this much sweetness, it’s frankly intolerable and this is sad as I love the taste of fresh cherries. One of few beers I could not finish. One of, if not the least favorite beer I have had thus far.

I had this beer at the Carolina Ale House in Columbia, SC. Served from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The aroma was of wheat and cherry extract, not bad. Appearance- The beer had a nice golden color. Taste- This was the drawback for me, the flavor was overpowering on the fake cherry flavoring. Palate- A medium bodied beer with mild carbonation. Overall- A good beer, but you have to be in the mood for this cheery beer.
