COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Si tratta di una quasi-double IPA realizzata con luppolo californiano e creata in collaborazione con don Bill Green (illustratore del fan club de Il grande Lebowski, da cui il nome Dude)... elementi che dicono già molto su cosa aspettarsi.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2022 Bottle, it's definitely not out of production! A nice beer that I haven't had in years that nevertheless still really holds up. A good west coast IPA that is very solid.

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2020 23.05.2020: 330 ml bottle, 7.1% ABV, bb. 21.09.2020, at Pardo Bar, Locarno. Pours a lightly hazy dark amber with an off-white head. The aroma is medium malty with sweet malt, metallic notes, some tea, light skunk, caramel, candied orange. Looks and smells completely oxidized. Medium body with an average carbonation, a light sweetness and a medium to medium-heavy bitterness. The flavor is luckily significantly better than the smell due to the dominant bitterness - bitter resin, distinct burnt and metallic notes, some pine, toffee, burnt caramel, some citric notes, some malt in the back. Finishes with a lasting and light astringent hoppy bitterness and pretty dry. Overall way out of balanced. Not sure if this one aged badly or something else went wrong. At a tasting, thanks, no head, hazy deep orange to red color, fruity aroma with some biscuit in the back, biscuit and caramel flavor, quite sweet and not bitter enough. Not well made.

330ml Can from Drinks of the World, Basel (5.30 CHF):
This one was a beer I was looking forward to but instantly became unsure of as I poured the can & it looked a lot darker than I’d pictured in my head given I was expecting a standard American IPA. Thankfully the beer was one that grew on me, especially by the time I got to the taste with the darker malts & roasted flavours perfectly balanced against some pine & citrus hops with a little sweetness & sugar thrown in for good measure. It was definitely an unusual take on the style but it went down a treat & was easily on of the better beers I tried on my trip to Switzerland; great stuff & one well worth looking out for.

Can from Drinks of the World. Dark amber body with puffy head. Nose is malty, soapy, hoppy. Taste is also hoppy, caramel, malts and sugar. Pretty good. And out of a can.
