Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

nohopspleez (118) - Georgia, USA - SEP 10, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 10, 2023 8/12/2023 - My son buys some of this beer. I am not one of the over-hyped, over-hopped USA craftie beer idiots who suck down 100% USA hops brews and call it 'yummy'. Ever notice they all use the same words for EVERY beer - ie, pepper, lemongrass, lacey head, etc, etc, etc? Not gonna do it. My son offers me this SN brew. Ive tried some of their Octoberfest joint brews with some of Germany's best brewers. Those were, mostly, very good. I try this brew. Wow. I was not expecting such a good taste. I was waiting for the 400 lb. sack o hops to hit me. Nope. Refreshingly 'yummy'. Yes, it has hops, but it uses them intelligently. Good taste. Of all the craftie messes being brewed in the USA (and GA, as a state, forces most of those messes to be sold in their state) I have to admit that SN has some better brews. I am not a hops advocate as it is used by the insane USA 'craftie' movement. But hops DOES add a good flavor to beer, WHEN USED INTELLIGENTLY. Thank you SN for your intelligence.

simontomlinson (6631) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2023 One finger foamy white head left a rocky cover on an unclear highly carbonated dark golden coloured body. Malt, burnt & wet cardboard aroma. Medium bodied, foamy with a cloying back. Malt, herbal, muted hops, citrus & berry tastes. Lacking.

Zlotta (8973) - Hagen, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2023
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2023 0.355 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', canned in April 2023. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, minimally grassy aroma of lemon peel, white pepper and light lemongrass. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral, quite grassy-spicy taste of grains, straw, white pepper, lemongrass and lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty, crisp lager, nicely peppery.

DeathAdder (47) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2023 Has a beautiful golden color, decent head, and practically no aroma. The taste is lemony and light. It is a fine and refreshing lager, but I'm more likely to grab a slightly cheaper pack of Miller High Life or PBR. Jeremy Piven probably loves this stuff. Style: Lager Tap/Can/Bottle: Can Abv: 5% Rating: 3.5

MacNJ (425) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 29, 2023
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2023 Poured from a can into a glass. Virtually no head or webbing; golden and filtered in appearance. Nice, light, sweet nose is present. Heavier mouth feel than your average Pilsner; another difference in the style is a refreshing lemon taste that hides in the back bite. Not your typical Pilsner. Worth trying in your backyard, beach or lake. Cheers!
