UPDATED: MAR 2, 2024 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured chestnut body off white lace. Aroma of roasted malt and earthy straw hops. Medium sweet to bitter with a little toffee malt along the way and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth texture, average carbonation for a bottled beer and a bitter finish. I would happily drink it but would not rate it among my top Dunkel lagers.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2024 500ml bottle pours out cola brown topped with a sand tan head. Nose is light roast malts some caramel and a little hop. Taste is more of the nice rich grain malts forward some light toast and a little chocolate.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2023 Bottle 50 cl. Bronze color, clear, creamy foam. Aroma: caramel, malty, even a little hoppy. Taste: a bit sweet, caramel, other types of malt, cookies, a little bitterness, not bad.

Moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; average-lasting sweet finish. Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2023 Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is brown malts with some caramel and nutty notes. Toffee, hint of dried fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Not bad.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2023 W zapachu gorzki tost z ciemnego chleba, barwa ciemnobrązowa, ładna piana i dość wysokie wysycenie. W smaku taka goryczka ciemnego tosta i podbita odchmielową ziemistością, nie jest przesadnie ciężkie, a raczej pijalne i może nawet sesyjne. Elegancki ciemniak!
