I’m going to drag Jen to Wavelength on Saturday at some point before or after Lost Abbey and Churchill’s Clusterfuckaissance.

I just came across this brewery - apparently having their official opening tomorrow:

Looks very good! Anyone tried them yet?

I went during their soft opening. Three house beers on tap, only available in small taster pours for like $3 a pop. Didn’t like one of them at all, and the other ones were just kind of okay.

Disappointing. Maybe they got better over the last few months? I like the concept.

Not sure why I rated them as highly as I did considering the house beer was pretty lame but they are listed here Jeff

Just an FYI, Phantom Carriage is owned by the brother in law of a local sports personality (who I happen to like quite a lot) and has been pimping the opening tomorrow all over the radio, so it will probably be really crowded.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Kilowatt brewing opened this weekend in Kearny Mesa. Like a cat with 9 lives, Wet and reckless is soon reopening as reckless brewing. I read that he plans on recreating the same recipes he was using in the old location. Oh, good!

Oh man, now I have to go way out to the Nevada border in the middle of the Mojave to tick this place

They make at least 3 different gruits, lol. I find it interesting that he has guest taps by some relatively unknown breweries several hundred miles away (Wicks and Absolution). Thanks to Bacterial’s friend for mentioning this place yesterday.
