Man, my 2.7 and 56 make me look like a chump and a homer compared to you turkeys.

Those were happier times, when you still enjoyed beer.

Just saw this one on BA, but probably not open for another 6+ months: Indie Beer Co. in Boyle Heights

Well if the beer sucks (likely) at least you can get some bomb tacos in the area.

Escape is bringing complex beer to advanced paletes starting Saturday January 24.

Another homebrewer (I probably already mentioned them) now has all their equipment. Mars Brewing here in Riverside. Doesn’t look like they have the permits yet.

I’m not sure when the tasting room will open, but Home Brew Co. is now brewing beer. This is a brewery next door to The Homebrewer homebrew supply shop in North Park, San Diego. George the owner will be doing all kinds of interesting experiments along with collaborating with some of the great homebrewers in San Diego.

I don’t get it, is Hoparazzi open or what? They’re legal to make beer but they only seem to be available at festivals (and a bunch of untapped check ins at Aces and Ales in Vegas).

Another Friday night, another crappy new brewery. It’s like everyone with a business license just learned to homebrew. Karl Strauss is surely rolling in his grave.

Sweet. I’ll be visiting some promising new breweries today too after picking up the AleSmith / Mikkeller bottles.

From the information I got recently: they’re brewing at other breweries locally and then fermenting the wort at their (Hoparazzi) facility. Still no tasting room yet, so yeah, beer is only being served at festivals and random bars. I’ve had a few of them at Tustin.
