They’re official to brew and distribute and they have been hosting private events for the club members, but they are not yet open to the public. Open Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. 4 beers on tap currently, early reports are that it’s like every other homebrewery startup: it needs work. I might head out there on Saturday. The Dankness Dojo will be our R&D brewing facility, insanely tasty food emporium, and Full-Spectrum Modern Times Coffee Experience. We hope to open this year. I go to at least 5 new breweries a month and I’m losing ground. Word. I still try to get to new places, particularly when I go back down to SoCal, but it’s just too difficult and I’m becoming lazy. I guess that’s the benefit of being close to some great bars that get really interesting stuff all the time. I can try all the new beers I want and not have to drive two hours to get to some shitbag brewery that makes four crappy beers.
