Burnside St-Valentine Stout 3.1
Tap at Hanshin Department Store Portland Fair. Nose of light roast malt and strawberries. Muddy dark brown color. Light coffee flavor so, with some mild chocolate. Thins into a small bitterness and a gentle powdered cocoa finish. Thin-medium body. Okay, but really kind of thin all around.

Burnside St-Valentine Stout 3.6
Tap at Hanshin for Portland/Valentines Day event. The idea for this came from Ai Tani-San of CBB and Burnside came up with the recipe and made it. Aroma: Strawberry, coffee, lots of dark chocolate. Flavor: Chocolate, with a dry, bright, slightly tart strawberry that hits mid-palate. Chocolate finish. Comment: If you like dark chocolate with a some tart red berry character, you’ll probably like this. Not overly sweet.

Burnside St-Valentine Stout 3.3
St. Valentine Stout - 40 lbs of dark chocolate were blended into the kettle with aromatic roasted malt and then infused with pureed strawberries to create a distinct cocoa taste that finishes with a light berry flavor and creamy mouth feel. OK.

Burnside IPA 3.7
Rating #1598 - 27.03.2015 - On tap @underground_yeg - @yegbeergirl’s Tap Takeover. Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with Citra, simcoe overtones, grapefruit, citrusy, toasted malt. Taste is more of the same, dry piney hops and roast malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

Burnside Red Light District 3.9
Rating #1597 - 27.03.2015 - On tap @underground_yeg - @yegbeergirl’s Tap Takeover . Espresso coloured pour with a weak tan head that caps nicely. Aroma is heavy roast malt and coffee. Taste is heavy on roast malt and coffee flavours, very mild sweetness and a tinge of strawberry that blends well with the chocolate flavours and probably summons some sort of aphrodiasic spirit-lord. Amsterdama-lama-ding-dong.
