o_Merlin_o	3.5 Dansk Mjød Odin's Skull Pours a viscous orange milky opaque with zero head and no lacing. Interesting aromas of raisins and other fruits and some sort of spice. Slightly boozy palate but it’s an interesting soft flavor on the palate. Tons of flavors which are hard to parse but definitely fruity and a hint of spice like cinnamon. Tasty! bluejacket74	4.1 Dansk Mjød Viking Blod 300 ml bottle, no dating on it that I noticed. Served in a chalice, the mead pours a dark gold/amber color. It's more mead than beer to me, it's still so no lacing or carbonation. Aroma is nice, it smells like honey, hibiscus, earthiness, ginger and some herbal hops. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but I think the honey stands out somewhat compared to the other flavors without overpowering them. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's syrupy and slick with pretty much no carbonation. Doesn't seem like it's 19% ABV either. I thought this was a good overall braggot, wouldn't mind trying this again in the future. Worth a try for sure! Monday, September 4, 2023

Scent is waxy, sugary & herbal. Bittersweet, leaning absolutely sweet. Rich floral honey, hint of mallow, thought of clove, mellow acidity from the apples cuts with a general, murky apple filling flavor throughout. Oily, coating residual. Increasingly warming. I taste alcohol, vanilla, honey, hibiscus, herbs & a touch of hops. It has a thick but pleasant mouthfeel. I'm enjoying this greatly and would recommend it to others. Aroma is surprisingly not so obviously honey, being herbal, floral, spicy Body is thick, with no carbonation. Quite a spiciness and stickiness.
