Description:
This NW style sour honey rye ale was barrel aged for eight months in a Bourbon barrel with various types of ginger and lime. Copious amounts of wild honey were then added right before finishing. Sweet ginger and lime with hints of Bourbon and candy are the first to be noticed. A cool, quenching lime note is followed by a slightly sweet ginger spice that sparkles on the palate. A crisp bite of ginger and a lingering honey herbal note lead to a sweet lime Bourbon and slight peppery finish.
