Baird Harajuku Taproom (Tokyo)

Don't expect the most exciting beer here, but the place itself is fantastic. Located on the 2F near the centre of Shibuya on a very quiet street, the Persian bartender has been working there for years and will take good care of you. Taplist has a dozen or year-rounds, plus 4 seasonals. Customs flights of 3 available for ¥1100. Beer quality was all fine, but nothing special. Ambience-wise, we really enjoyed this place. Beer quality-wise, there are many better spots. Worth a stop if it's near-ish to your planned route.

It's a tap room and sells grilled skewers. Do I have to say more? Beer is decent and food excellent.

Not quite as thrilled this time around when compared to my first visit in 2011. Cosy comfortable modern bar with a very solid house list and sharper pricing when compared to some of high profile craft bars around town. Service friendly albeit one of the food orders was forgotten. Whilst we are talking food well executed but on the expensive side. Only 50m from the craziness of the Harajuku shopping streets.

Visited the 21st November 2017 - near to Harajuku main street this small place is beer need to see place if you are on this area. Great beer selection from direct from the brewery. Food is also excellent. A must see if you are on the area.

If you can find it, because the entrance is at the complete opposite from the main street, this taproom is quite nice. They serve Baird's crafts mostly on about 15 taps. Food is quite good and the best value there to discover their beers is the tasting plan : 3 x 140ml samplers for 1000Y, which is affordable. Sometimes they have guests beers on tap, or collabs. When i went there, they had a collab with Shiga Kogen

Dropped in here on a rainy Sunday night and it was the best place to be. Good food, warm smoke-free atmosphere, excellent service and of course lots of excellent Baird Beers. Worth making a detour for for sure.

Went there with some friends for beer and food. They serve mainly yakitori, which were good and I also can’t complain about the Baird beer. They seem to mainly serve their own beer.

Great place tucked in behind Takeshita Dori in Harajuku. Baird beer mostly on tap with a guest beer and a hand pump beer as well. Food is Japanese style yakitori with some other otsumami available as well. Service was fine when I was there, the beers are most of standard Baird beers but if you’re looking for Baird and in the area than this is a great option.

We visited this Baird tap room on 1st of March 2015. They have 15 taps with Baird beer, 1 guest beer (Green Tea IPA from Stones = very good!!!) and one hand pump. All beers very well tapped and great temperature. Nice bar, good atmosphere, friendly service and beers are quite good especially the IPA’s.
